Jennifer Moss is the founder of BabyNames.com and author of four mysteries and three non-fiction books. She was born and raised in Evanston, Illinois and is a graduate of Northwestern University. In 1995 Jennifer launched one of the first parenting websites, BabyNames.com, which is still the top naming site online.
Her first book, The One-in-a-Million Baby Name Book was published in 2008 by Penguin as a companion to the website. Jennifer then transitioned into the world of fiction with her series of mysteries with a metaphysical twist: Town Red, Way to Go, Taking the Rap, and Friend of the Family.
She has since co-authored The Yosemite Home Companion and The Baby Names Workbook, both self-published. She has taught fiction writing to both adults and teens for over ten years. Jennifer combines her love of names with her love of writing to provide character name consulting to authors and screenwriters.
